Hi, I think that seeing a rainbow is confirmation of the account written about the Biblical deluge, as a matter of fact you can see a rainbow connected to water in the atmosphere period. Yesterday I was going out to dinner in NYC, and I saw kids playing in a water sprinkler system, and you know what I saw a rainbow, but it was not in a cloud. The water of the sprinkler system mixed with air and a rainbow was formed. Hence that could only mean one thing the atmosphere is constructed to form a rainbow through water and chemicals mixed in the air.
The whole essence of the rainbow is proof that God would never bring a flood of water to destroy the whole world, Genesis 9:8-16. Today when we endure the flash flooding of the Great Tribulation that happened as a test to all mankind, it would not be wrong to question its meaning. Where is the water coming from? The flash floods are due to water accumulating in the atmosphere and transfer of ice bergs to create massive flooding in one place after another. But if God will hold true to the promise at Genesis 9:8-16 we will never be destroyed by a global deluge.

8 Then God told Noah and his sons, 9-11 “I solemnly promise you and your children and the animals you brought with you—all these birds and cattle and wild animals—that I will never again send another flood to destroy the earth. 12 And I seal this promise with this sign: 13 I have placed my rainbow in the clouds as a sign of my promise until the end of time, to you and to all the earth. 14 When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will be seen in the clouds, 15 and I will remember my promise to you and to every being, that never again will the floods come and destroy all life. 16-17 For I will see the rainbow in the cloud and remember my eternal promise to every living being on the earth.”
