Hi, I think it is one’s will or ability that causes poverty. Perhaps schooling was not a big plus in one's life, or college was beyond one’s means. As the world goes on the need for a higher education became necessary, many jobs now do not hire without a degree or in fact require several degrees. It could also be finding work in these critical times that make for one being poor, moving to another state or country where there are scarce jobs as one has to start over. The company you worked for collapsed or is going out of business. The picture above is a common sighting today as more and more people are out of work because of downsizing. All these things mark the time called the Last Days in which we try by all means but nothing is successful, Daniel 11:27.
