Hello, this passage is related to SALVATION and each one's appearance during Judgment Day. You must be of the Mormon Religion since they are the only church that focuses on the Priesthood of Melchizedek. The passage at 2 Corinthians 13:5 in the Holy Bible:
2 Corinthians 13:5
Living Bible
5 Check up on yourselves. Are you really Christians? Do you pass the test? Do you feel Christ’s presence and power more and more within you? Or are you just pretending to be Christians when actually you aren’t at all?
Now the passage helps us see the value of self-examination where we can take control of our own lives instead of depending on others. This is important that we become MATURE so we can stand before God on the Day of Judgment. Because when we face God, we face him alone not in a group or with others in any way. When I was part of a religion, I always moved towards anything that made me in control of my own faith and Christian outlook, this is especially called “Growth”. I shied away from having people telling me how to do everything, I accepted help but never in a way that I would not be in control and knowing what I am doing. The quest for maturity is very important no matter what religion you belong to. What passage in the Bible helps us understand that this is the correct way to worship God?
1 Corinthians 13:11
Easy-to-Read Version
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, and I made plans like a child. When I became a man, I stopped those childish ways.
