Hi, the prophet Daniel is a character of the Holy Bible that saw a vision or a dream, in his dreams angels came to him to help him understand the visions that he saw. Mainly they came to give meaning to what he saw so he could record them in the book that bears his name. In the dictionary the word Hermeneutics is defined as:
- the branch of knowledge that deals with interpretation, especially of the Bible or literary texts.
The prophet Daniel was given more than one vision to explain especially to the king or some other higher source within the government body of his time. As a private divine interpreter if you will that relays God’s message to the world the Book of Daniel accomplishes this main idea of God.
