Hi, I think I answered this question or a similar question to this one. The Book of Genesis is not real but uses real places and people that were made up to provide examples. This should lead to the development in which the Hebrews will accept and create the culture of Judaism worship by following the trail left in the Bible. By accepting the Prophets prediction of the Messiah in the Torah, the Jews were awaiting the one to be the Savior and the message he had.
With the introduction of the Christ in the New Testament we learn that the goal is to provide salvation to the entire world along with the Jews which is established as Christianity which means followers of Christ. Without the foundation of the Patriarchs and the Prophets the Messiah would be hard to conceive. The Laws of Moses express the sins of the world and the need for redemption. With the right larger-than-life examples displayed in the Holy Bible including the Prophets we can believe in the Messiah as truly coming to save us when he arrived in the Bible with miracles and preaching of the Kingdom of God which will provide salvation to all. This is the purpose of the entire Bible and the goal of its origin.
There is success in the overall concept of any kind of communications from God with particular instructions that leads all to a certain point. Since people are unable to acknowledge the success of the Holy Bible we will simply have to rely on God and trust that it will all workout exactly as intended. Amen. I need not to place Bible passages here in this post because the students of the Bible will recall passages that tell the journey towards salvation and how it was all workout from the beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelation.
