Hi good evening being saved means to acquire information that leads to gaining salvation and this is a Christian belief that is founded on faith of Jesus Christ. The promise of eternal life called salvation is a gift from God, Romans 6:23. This free gift has not been handed out just as yet but is done when the Kingdom of the Heavens is established during the Second Coming of Christ.
In addition, saved does not mean go to heaven but it means to receive the free gift from God of Eternal life. The Scriptures used this tactic to get through to imperfect humans because something strong must grab the attention of people. So now it might be time to ask the personal question of if a person has done plenty of good works can he be qualified to receive eternal life apart from faith? The answer is no because eternal life is a free gift and does not require anything from the believer but faith. What could be the reason for that? Well the human body was designed and built for endurance, this information mean that the body was built to last forever. So once sin was “born” on earth well the only way to achieve the proper body was to construct a plan so that people can easy get their sins forgiven. So faith in Jesus Christ as the savior of the world was the general idea because a human was needed to redeem mankind.
