Yes! The Book of Genesis chapters 1-2 definitely inspire scientific research seeing that no information will be available to people until the modern era. Some of the points in the Bible especially the miracles done by Jesus Christ have been researched but many points of the Bible are left unclear. Maybe because God intended to lead scientist into uncovering information so that it does not challenge the authority of God, but just simply stating actual facts that uncover the truth. Of course, it would be impossible to go into the solar system and define things that are not human in nature. But science can be used, and it probably was expected to be expressed through scientific research that is led by God.
