Hello, I think the essence is the core of a person meaning the soul, in depth the being is the same thing. It would mean the body ages we are able to identify with our soul which seems too already be mature, or mature at a different level, Matthew 4:1-4. The essence always seems to be full grown or able to lead the mind in various stages of consciousness. Have you ever been in contact with a feeling or a principle that seems to come out a nowhere, but it was you?
