Hi, it all depends on what you want to do with your life. Finding a meaningful purpose is not hard, it is only if you want that. I believe thinking would be a very good start even Jesus Christ used time to think about his life before he went out on his ministry as well as being tempted by the Devil, Matthew 4:1-11. It can't be hard to want to do good things and be involved in them, again it happens only if you want that to happen.
Having an inward desire to be career inclined takes a lot of drive in ambition that comes out of you. Our parents can be a big play in shaping our goals and motivational drive. It is actually a lifelong goal to be in all the right places and in getting the help that you need to support you. Since the world is constantly changing, careers change, and new ones can be forged that are very different from the present ones. Keeping up with everything can be awesome but it takes a lot of paying attention. Lots of people have succeeded and have very good jobs and personal satisfaction from our ambitions.
