Jesus Is Arrested
43 While Jesus was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve apostles, came there. He had a big crowd of people with him, all carrying swords and clubs. They had been sent from the leading priests, the teachers of the law, and the older Jewish leaders.

Hi well this is no other than the betrayal of Jesus to “secular” religion. This move will be made no matter who will take the bait as the betrayer. The Christ must be impaled to provide the ransom, John 3:16. In acknowledging prophecy how can we perceive that the Christ was always destined to die?

The people tripped over the word because they refused to believe it. Therefore, this is how they ended up.
9 However, you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people who belong to God. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not God’s people, but now you are. Once you were not shown mercy, but now you have been shown mercy.
