Hello, a symbol is like an identification mark or something that is expressed in abbreviation. The single faith of the church can be found in the cross which is considered the sign of the ransom. So Christian faiths always use the cross in the symbol which clarifies their belief. Why are symbols important? Because they tell us of a religion, when a church does not have a symbol, it is hard to identify that they are a religion. Many people find it hard to display religious conduct simply because there are no symbols to “guide them”. There is a difference between an idol and a religious symbol, idols are worshiped as god and people expect the idol to relay miracles. A symbol only tells you that a religion is presence.
