Hi Happy Thanksgiving, it is important to note that the Bible stories are not real there was never a man named Moses, he is the main character of the Exodus story. Well, the answers to Moses’ life are all in the Bible. At Acts 7:23 it says that Moses simply got the idea at age 40 to inspect the slaves of Israel and that he knew they were his brothers. The interpretation would also be that Moses grew strong enough to observe his own Hebrew family in spite of growing up as an Egyptian.
Additional information helps to look closely at the character Moses to define his spiritual growth. At Hebrews 11:24–27 explains that Moses started to build his spiritual relationship with God at this time. He grew strong enough to notice the injustice of slavery, he defends one of them but recognized that he was not strong enough. All of this happened at age 40 to show that no matter what position he had as an Egyptian royalty he was still not powerful enough and so he ran away. This can also be viewed as a divine test that can show us what is in our hearts, Jeremiah 17:10.
At Exodus 7:7 it explains that Moses was 80 years old when he approached Pharaoh to free the slaves from Egypt. What could this passage mean? That it took an additional 40 years to prepare Moses to lead the people out of slavery. Chapter 3 of Exodus did not happen in one day as it would seem, but in stages over the time of 40 years. In all that time we can witness by Scriptures that Moses was given training first.
Checking online you can find that The Ten Plagues resulted in ancient Egypt on a period of two weeks each as some plagues overlapped and seemed to happen on the same day. Online can teach you that from the warning by Moses and the actual plagues plus removing an existing plague takes about 2 weeks each. As for overlapping it means that Moses showed up in the middle of one plague and then announced that another one is coming. This would mean in the middle of a two-week period for one plague another showed up in the middle of it and both plagues take two weeks each from start to finish. This means two plagues are running at the same time in which both will end in two weeks' time separately. At this rate the entire time for all ten plagues would be about 4 or 5 months in which Moses is still 80 years old.
Once the last plague has been visited upon the Egyptians it took 2 weeks to round up all the people, partake of the Passover and prepare to leave Egypt, Exodus 11–12:39. It took about three months to arrive at Mount Sinai, Exodus 13:20 in which time Moses is still 80 years old. The entire episode of the beginning of the Exodus would take about 1 year which is still considered a miracle to free millions of people in such a short time, Exodus 12:40–41.
