Hello to you and I am glad that you asked this question. So, in today's world how can peace from God be greater than that of normal peace that people have? In analyzing the passage, it says (1.You belong to Christ Jesus this can be understood by recalling the Bible advise to remove habits and actions that block us becoming strong Christians, Ephesians 4:22–24. This means to change the way your mind thinks and act in a new way by forcing your mind to do certain things that develop a habit that is healthy. This is how therapy works they will give ideas and suggestions that are healthy, and they tell you to follow this way instead of what you are doing. So, you change by halting your thinking process and forcing new ideas and habits that are given to you by professionals that help to create a healthy mental environment. If you fail in forcing your mind into a new way of thinking they will put you on stronger medication and therapy that will force you to change, the strength of the medication indicates how much force your mind needed to change.
(2. God’s peace will guard your thought and feelings, what passage in the Bible helps us to understand God’s way of peace? At Colossians 3:8–11 it explains habits that are bad that should be removed, as in putting on new clothing that covers our bodies. This should lead to forming a new personality that is learned and displayed through examples of other Christians, correct knowledge of Christian principles and ways of life. This is very important and what God expects you to do until the kingdom arrives, if you have not done it then it is too late to start because the kingdom's arrival will expose you.
(3. His peace can do this far better than our human minds- this is thought of developing a Christlike personality which has removed traits that block spiritual progress. What passage in the Bible tell us what this will means to develop a Christlike personality? At 1 Corinthians 1:21–25 which expresses that the wisdom of God is expressed through the death of Jesus Christ and the teaching of this is considered foolishness to the world. The plan for salvation through the wisdom of God is not accepted by the world. True Christians can accept God's will no matter what it is and only a Christlike personality can cause this to happen. It should not be hard to be stronger in love and peace because we have built Christian personalities that conquers worldly wisdom.
