HI, I feel that is about the only way to get it, you must feel worthy and make your life worthy of it, Romans 12:1-2. It is a mind over matter situation you must lift yourself up. You must believe that you have lived according to God's Law as best you could. You were not perfect, but you tried all you could to follow a sinless lifestyle as Jesus Christ did.
When you think of perfection a life of perfect bliss your heart and mind must desire this completely. You must teach yourself how to develop a clean lifestyle, I don’t mean like washing your face and brushing your teeth. I mean as morally clean by following the laws of God that will naturally lead you to no cheating, stealing, or bold sexuality things, Psalms 19:8. If you cannot follow the simple things of God's Law then you never will, 1 John 5:1-4. You have to train yourself how to live a moral lifestyle.

Even so, dear friends, we beg you to love them more and more. 11 This should be your ambition: to live a quiet life, minding your own business and doing your own work, just as we told you before. 12 As a result, people who are not Christians will trust and respect you, and you will not need to depend on others for enough money to pay your bills.
