I would say by all means no, this is a common story, and it is wonderful how God created a modern story as an example to faithful Christians today. You might know well what the moral of the story is, as it has always been.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18

Christians and Their Relationships with Unbelievers
14 Stop forming inappropriate relationships with unbelievers. Can right and wrong be partners? Can light have anything in common with darkness? 15 Can Christ agree with the devil? Can a believer share life with an unbeliever? 16 Can God’s temple contain false gods? Clearly, we are the temple of the living God. As God said,
“I will live and walk among them.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”
17 The Lord says, “Get away from unbelievers.
Separate yourselves from them.
Have nothing to do with anything unclean.
Then I will welcome you.”
18 The Lord Almighty says, “I will be your Father,
and you will be my sons and daughters.”
Footnotes
- 2 Corinthians 6:17 “Unclean” refers to anything that Moses’ Teachings say is not presentable to God.
This young woman of the early family of Israel had a bad habit of bad association, 1 Corinthians 15:33. This also indicates that she knew what she was doing. I feel that she was unexpectedly raped repeatedly by this prince and then held captive as she was associating with females that were not believers and were in fact a secular kingdom. I felt that she brought it upon herself by associating with people that did not uphold righteous actions and were rich. This is probably a key as to how the girl got into all this in the first place, she was curious about the rich and their lifestyle.
In the final days this is really a strong pull as the world becomes more and more separated financially. It is often considered that strong Christians are poor in the manner of Jesus Christ and his life on earth relayed in the Bible. It must be acknowledged that Jesus had a commission to carry out and the poor lifestyle made it easier for him to do his job. But as regards the Bible story there are many clashes in principles here, relationships, culture of dating, courting, and marriage. The story itself centers around Middle Eastern culture, but many other nations can relate to the example in this story.
