Hi good evening this verse has several meanings that will be made clearly understood, first let’s print the passage:
2 Peter 3:10

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that day the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything done on it shall be exposed.

The passage has three clear points made about a time called the Lord’s Day: (1. Coming like a thief in the night = no one is expecting the elements that make up the Lord’s Day such as it being call the Great Tribulation. (2. Heavens passes away to seem dead with strong climaxes = Governments expressed as political and moral corruption that is useless and unprofessional. (3. Earth exposed = People’s lifestyle and habits openly revealed. Each point revealed with the arrival of COVID-19. The rapture has long been a teaching among Christian churches that is misunderstood in which the Second Coming of Christ will clearly reveal this point.
