Hi maybe I can just put a different opinion on the same situation that can give you food for thought. Maybe just maybe Eve was not supposed to be tricked, the result of the encounter with the snake meant that a fool was uncovered. In the dictionary the word Foolish = (of a person or action) lacking good sense or judgment; unwise. First off snakes do not talk at all, simply because the snake talked did not mean anything. Something off was clearly present that Eve did not recognize, 1 Timothy 2:14. Secondly Eve thought things when she was clearly told would lead to her death, the snake only said she would not die certainly not enough information here, Genesis 3:3. Third did anyone say that Eve could not question God about the whole situation? So, she failed to be a whistleblower. In the dictionary the word Whistleblower = 1. a person who informs on a person or organization engaged in an illicit activity. How does the Bible explain the consequences of the encounter Eve had with the Tree of knowledge?
1 Corinthians 11:7
Modern English Version
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.
1 Timothy 2:11-15
Easy-to-Read Version
11 A woman should learn while listening quietly and being completely willing to obey. 12 I don’t allow a woman to teach a man or tell him what to do. She must listen quietly, 13 because Adam was made first. Eve was made later. 14 Also, Adam was not the one who was tricked. It was the woman who was tricked and became a sinner. 15 But women will be saved in their work of having children. They will be saved if they continue to live in faith, love, and holiness with sensible behavior.
