Hi the book of Revelation is just a story that tells information about the future in dream format, a version of 16 or so recurring dreams. The time of John’s life came in the 1st Century AD and as you can see the Great Tribulation come in 21st Century AD. It is not possible for the Apostle John to acknowledge the things he sees in dream format living in the first century because today we wear suits, drive cars, build megacities which in the first century hasn’t been created yet.
Another point for the Apostle John is to see millions of people in just one city like NY. The city alone has millions of Americans, 8 million people live here spread out in five boroughs. The Apostle John lives in a village of about maybe 25 families he could never image a big city. Below I will show you a picture of the 1st century and 21st century so you can compare.
