When God created the Human body there was an intention that God had for the body. First, we learn that male and female are created in the image of God, Since God has personality humans also have one. Next, the core of God's being is to make life in various forms. Humans have reproduction and this is the limited creation form in the human body.
Now in taking a closer look at the soul, this is the life force from God sustained by breathing. As long as any being takes in breath either from the air or from the water it has a soul. This is a better way to explain a soul and how it functions so that you can know what actually has one. Planets are not living things they do not take in air in any form they cannot have souls that require breathing. What passage in the Bible confirms that the soul is created from breathing?
Job 27:3
