Hi, the Old Testament accompanies the New Testament and understanding its’ books require that you acknowledge the information in all the books. Long time Bible readers and students knew that the Old Testament identifies the Messiah and tells us that we should await information from the Savior that is revealed as Good News. The only way to find and pinpoint all of this is to accept the Old Testament and see this message within its pages, then accept the New Testament as it actually is. By the time the New Testament is publish in many languages it is clear of the overall theme of Holy Scriptures. Bible books like Daniel and Revelation are timepieces for those that live in the future, they reveal God’s dealing in human affairs, so people are not clueless.
2 Timothy 3:14-17
Living Bible
14 But you must keep on believing the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know that you can trust those of us who have taught you. 15 You know how, when you were a small child, you were taught the holy Scriptures; and it is these that make you wise to accept God’s salvation by trusting in Christ Jesus. 16 The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right. 17 It is God’s way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone.
