I would say: You must not worship any God except me. There are many gods, objects, or people that are honored even if we are not aware of it, 1 Corinthians 8:4-6. If we display honor in a way that resembles worship, then we are guilty of this sin.
The Bible says at Revelation 4:11 that God is worthy because of creating life to receive honor from humans. If this honor is not granted correctly or freely, we do not need to approach God in any way we will not be respected. The passage explains why God is worthy if we cannot respect that then why try to approach and ask for help? The correct way of life is revealed in the Bible and was displayed in Jesus Christ there is nothing else to trust in, anything else will surely lead you astray, John 14:6.
