Hi, I have tried to search online for this Christian belief and really did not find anything, perhaps because this belief is passed down as a translation. This happens when the Scriptures have an unfulfilled prophecy and needs clarity to resolve the actual meaning. What passage in the Bible tells us this would happen?
Daniel 12:4
Easy-to-Read Version
4 “But you, Daniel, keep this message a secret. You must close the book and keep this secret until the time of the end. Many people will go here and there looking for true knowledge, and the true knowledge will increase.”
Daniel 12:4
Living Bible
4 “But Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal it up so that it will not be understood until the end times, when travel and education shall be vastly increased!”
In identifying the points of one passage but using two different translations to explain what is said here. In the Easy-to-Read version it says that the books of Daniel are locked until the End when people are searching for “Knowledge”. In the Living Bible version, it says the book of Daniel are locked until travel and education has increased. Both translations are correct. In opening the information of the Bible, especially in times of unfulfilled prophecy we need people searching for the truth because there is a lot of information that has not happened yet, and we also need people to be educated enough to be able to recognize the truth plus have experience in seeing the world for themselves. So, in other words the books of the Bible can only be opened with certain conditions obvious in people.
Let us first start by looking at what the Rapture means: The rapture is an eschatological theological position held by some Christians, particularly within branches of American Evangelicalism, consisting of an end-time event when all Christian believers who are alive, along with resurrected believers, will rise "in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. What passage in the Bible supports modern Christian belief in the Rapture?

Matthew 24:29-31
Easy-to-Read Version
29 “Right after the trouble of those days, this will happen:
‘The sun will become dark,
and the moon will not give light.
The stars will fall from the sky,
and everything in the sky will be changed.’
30 “Then there will be something in the sky that shows the Son of Man is coming. All the people of the world will cry. Everyone will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds in the sky. He will come with power and great glory. 31 He will use a loud trumpet to send his angels all around the earth. They will gather his chosen people from every part of the earth.

1 Corinthians 15:50-56
Modern English Version
50 Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible will put on incorruption, and this mortal will put on immortality. 54 When this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then the saying that is written shall come to pass: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O death, where is your sting?
O grave, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
With these two Scriptures we have the foundation of the modern terminology of the Rapture. The only point is that both passages are unfulfilled prophecy. Now in our journey to use Bible passages unlocked to reveal the truth we can find out if the rapture is a Bible concept or if it should be removed as supporting God timeline. At Matthew 24 verses 29 it speaks of the end of the Great Tribulation; we know that the tribulation will end because it already states this in the Bible:
Matthew 24:22
Easy-to-Read Version
22 “But God has decided to make that terrible time short. If it were not made short, no one would continue living. But God will make that time short to help the people he has chosen.
So, using this passage at Matthew 24:22 we know the End of the World will come with the Great Tribulation which in fact will end because God ended it exactly as it says in Matthew 24:22. When this happens, we will see it going away just like the history of deadly diseases, extreme weather, and financial collapse that happened on Earth ended. The end of the Great Tribulation will become a new heaven and new earth. But what happens next? Matthew 24 verse 29 says that we will see the Son of Man coming with great power and authority. What passage in the Bible helps us understand this change?
Daniel 2:34-35
Living Bible
34 But as you watched, a Rock was cut from the mountainside by supernatural means. It came hurtling toward the statue and crushed the feet of iron and clay, smashing them to bits. 35 Then the whole statue collapsed into a heap of iron, clay, brass, silver, and gold; its pieces were crushed as small as chaff, and the wind blew them all away. But the Rock that knocked the statue down became a great mountain that covered the whole earth.
Daniel 2 verse 34, Matthew 24 verse 29
Okay now at Daniel 2:34 it explains that a Rock was cut out from a mountainside by supernatural means (God). The purpose of the Rock was to destroy the statue or image of the dream. Daniel 2 verse 34 explains that the Rock hit the statue so hard it exploded the image instantly into powder that was carried away by the wind. At Matthew 24 verse 29 expresses that this is the same as the changes that we will all witness once the Son of Man arrives in great power and authority. Now this is actually the next step as it will all happen at the same time since the Second Coming is the actions of the Christ using great power and authority as the Great Tribulation. The dream of Daniel is fulfilled, and the governments of this world are destroyed by the Rock created by God for that purpose. What passage tell us this will happen?
Daniel 2:44
Easy-to-Read Version
44 “During the time of the kings of the fourth kingdom, the God of heaven will set up another kingdom that will continue forever. It will never be destroyed. And it will be the kind of kingdom that cannot be passed on to another group of people. This kingdom will crush all the other kingdoms. It will bring them to an end, but that kingdom itself will continue forever.
Daniel 2 verse 35, Matthew 24 verses 30
In addressing the steps in God plan that focuses on the destruction of all secular governments, this will take time but when it finally happens, we will see a big change on the Earth. So, we will have to simply wait for those changes to occur. The next things are that the Rock itself changed back into a great mountain that “covered” the entire Earth which is expressed at Daniel 2 verse 35. Once the governments have been destroyed the Rock becomes a great mountain that fills the whole earth and that too will also take time to happen. At Matthew 24 verse 30 this indicates as the establishment of God Kingdom. What passage in the Bible expresses the great Mountain that the rock became and what is its purpose?
Isaiah 2:2-4
Easy-to-Read Version
2 In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s Temple
will be the highest of all mountains.
It will be raised higher than the hills.
There will be a steady stream of people from all nations going there.
3 People from many places will go there and say,
“Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the Temple of the God of Jacob.
Then God will teach us his way of living,
and we will follow him.”
His teaching, the Lord’s message, will begin in Jerusalem on Mount Zion
and will go out to all the world.
4 Then God will act as judge to end arguments between nations.
He will decide what is right for people from many lands.
They will stop using their weapons for war.
They will hammer their swords into plows
and use their spears to make tools for harvesting.
All fighting between nations will end.
They will never again train for war.
1 Corinthians 14:50–56, Matthew 24:31
As for the second Scripture that is used to explain the Rapture at 1 Corinthians 15:50–56, it is still unfulfilled prophecy awaiting the future that is due to happen after Armageddon which is expressed as the Last Trumpet blast and also at Matthew 24:31. This indicates the purpose of the great mountain with its goal related at Isaiah 2:2–4. The information of 1 Corinthians 15:50–56 has a physical application to all of the Chosen ones during the Millennium rule of God’s Kingdom. It creates changes in the bodies of the people due to salvation being given out to all approved subjects.
