The Pharaoh that adopted Moses acted as his father, and he was not the Pharaoh of the Exodus. By mention of the Pharaoh that ruled during the Exodus it says that this king was different and did not know Joseph, Acts 7:17-18. Moses' birth was many years after Joseph reigned as governor over Egypt and this was 400 years later as stated in prophecy, Genesis 15:13. Since Moses was 40 years old when he left Egypt, Acts 7:23 The Pharaoh that raised him would no longer be alive or active as King since Moses continued in Midian for 40 years which makes him 80 years old at the time of the Exodus, Acts 7:30. The next heir apparent as king of Egypt would be a family member of the dead king that remained in Egypt since Moses ran away, Exodus 2:11-15.
