Hi, I think the Bible story of Samuel given that his mother Hannah prayed for a child that she would give as a gift to the Temple was a good story. In other words, she prayed for a child that she would not raise herself but as a gift to God in service would grow up in the temple. A truly unselfish quest made by Hannah the mother of Samuel, 1 Samuel Chapters 1- 2:18-21. Samuel was a priest under Eli and his sons that were corrupt priests in the temple in which God did judge. Bible books written by Samuel are Judges, Ruth and 1 Samuel.
As a reference to his return from the grave it was in vision form only. God did indeed speak with Samuel while he lived in the Temple, what was the manner that Jehovah God spoke with Samuel?
