Hello, I think those that survive the Great Tribulation will be the end of repentance and will become Chosen Ones after the final battle of Armageddon. This is the time when the new Heavens and new Earth will emerge on earth during the Great Tribulation. What passage in the Bible helps us understand this?
Revelation 7:13-17
Modern English Version
13 Then one of the elders asked me, “Who are these clothed in white robes, and where did they come from?”
14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.”
He said to me, “These are those who came out of great tribulation and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore,
they are before the throne of God,
and serve Him day and night in His temple.
And He who sits on the throne
will dwell among them.
16 ‘They shall neither hunger any more,
nor shall they thirst any more;
the sun shall not strike them,’
nor any scorching heat;
17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne
will shepherd them
and ‘He will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

The doctrine of repentance as taught in the Bible is a call to persons to make a radical turn from one way of life to another. The repentance (metanoia) called for throughout the Bible is a summons to a personal, absolute and ultimate unconditional surrender to God as Sovereign.
How does God want us to repent?
Tell God that you want to turn away from your old life and follow Him, Acts 3:19. Tell Him you want a new life and to become a new creation to Him, Ephesians 4:22–24. Tell Him you are willing to do whatever it takes to get right with Him, 1 John 1:8–10.
What are the four steps of repentance?
The first is responsibility: We must recognize that we have done wrong. The second is regret: We must have true remorse for doing wrong and for the pain and problems we've caused. The third is resolve: We must be committed never to repeat the act regardless of the temptations or situation. The fourth and probably the most difficult is to repair the damage we've done, or at least do what we can to apologize directly to the injured party.
