Ephesians 2:19
Easy-to-Read Version
19 So now you non-Jewish people are not visitors or strangers, but you are citizens together with God’s holy people. You belong to God’s family.
Hello, this passage explains that people all over the world have been accepted by God and involved in the covenant agreement along with other Chosen Ones. With accepting Jesus Christ as your savior, you have renounced a former way of life. What passage in the Bible shows us this life that people have abandoned?
Ephesians 2:12
Living Bible
12 Remember that in those days you were living utterly apart from Christ; you were enemies of God’s children, and he had promised you no help. You were lost, without God, without hope.
As the Old Testament expresses a new covenant how did former worshipers look forwards to a better future?
Hebrews 11:13
Easy-to-Read Version
13 All these great people continued living with faith until they died. They did not get the things God promised his people. But they were happy just to see those promises coming far in the future. They accepted the fact that they were like visitors and strangers here on earth.
What changes did the new covenant brings to those hoping for God’s salvation to come?
Philippians 3:17-21
Easy-to-Read Version
17 Brothers and sisters, join together in following my example. Also, learn by watching those who are living the way we showed you. 18 There are many who live like enemies of the cross of Christ. I have often told you about them. And it makes me cry to tell you about them now. 19 The way they live is leading them to destruction. They have replaced God with their own desires. They do shameful things, and they are proud of what they do. They think only about earthly things. 20 But the government that rules us is in heaven. We are waiting for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from there. 21 He will change our humble bodies and make them like his own glorious body. Christ can do this by his power, with which he is able to rule everything.
Colossians 1:9-12
Living Bible
9 So ever since we first heard about you we have kept on praying and asking God to help you understand what he wants you to do; asking him to make you wise about spiritual things; 10 and asking that the way you live will always please the Lord and honor him, so that you will always be doing good, kind things for others, while all the time you are learning to know God better and better.
11 We are praying, too, that you will be filled with his mighty, glorious strength so that you can keep going no matter what happens—always full of the joy of the Lord, 12 and always thankful to the Father who has made us fit to share all the wonderful things that belong to those who live in the Kingdom of light.
Since the New Testament expresses the example of true Christian faith displayed by Jesus Christ that holds belief in the New Heavens and New Earth through God’s kingdom. Any new believers from whatever country will become fellow believers along with the Chosen Ones by continuing to follow the example that Christ left for us within the pages of the Holy Bible as a witness for each one.
Through their actions and examples as faithful brothers and sisters everywhere we should become united by the Second Coming of Christ that will gather us from all around the world to display the true household of God as his Children, Matthew 24:29-31. What passage in the Bible expresses the children of God and how his household should look?
Isaiah 56:4-5
Living Bible
4 For I say this to the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths holy, who choose the things that please me and obey my laws: 5 I will give them—in my house, within my walls—a name far greater than the honor they would receive from having sons and daughters. For the name that I will give them is an everlasting one; it will never disappear.
1 Timothy 3:14-16
Modern English Version
The Mystery of Our Religion
14 I am writing these things to you, hoping to come to you shortly, 15 but if I am delayed, you might know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. 16 Without question, great is the mystery of godliness:
God was revealed in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit,
seen by angels,
preached to the Gentiles,
believed on in the world,
taken up into glory.
Hebrews 3:1-6
Living Bible
3 Therefore, dear brothers whom God has set apart for himself—you who are chosen for heaven—I want you to think now about this Jesus who is God’s Messenger and the High Priest of our faith.
2 For Jesus was faithful to God who appointed him High Priest, just as Moses also faithfully served in God’s house. 3 But Jesus has far more glory than Moses, just as a man who builds a fine house gets more praise than his house does. 4 And many people can build houses, but only God made everything.
5 Well, Moses did a fine job working in God’s house, but he was only a servant; and his work was mostly to illustrate and suggest those things that would happen later on. 6 But Christ, God’s faithful Son, is in complete charge of God’s house. And we Christians are God’s house—he lives in us!—if we keep up our courage firm to the end, and our joy and our trust in the Lord.
