What's the difference between s parable and an analogy?

​             Hello well a parable as used in the Bible tells a short story that gives a moral and a spiritual lesson about a subject. An analogy is like a comparison of similar subject that can give clarity or a broad explanation. A parable can be used to explain a situation that is similar to a spiritual condition through analogy. A parable tells a story as a moral lesson using an analogical subject.
