Hello, in the Bible there is a story of a foreign princess named Jezebel that became Queen of Israel by marrying the King, 1 Kings 16:29-33. It was considered the King Ahab began to worship the God of his wife, a foreign false God which resulted in a showdown for a display a power for the true God, 1 Kings 18:16-46. At the death of her husband Queen Jezebel continues to rule with her son for 10 years. Her death is recorded in the Bible at 2 Kings chapter 9.
Queen Jezebel is mentioned again in the book of Revelation's Letters to the seven Churches, Revelation 3:20–23. In the Book of Revelation, she’s considered a “prophetess” by the people and what she actually teaches is fornication and idol worship. Even when the sin of Jezebel is clearly seen the people are slow to get rid of her and her influence so that warning is issued out. In the modern day the name Jezebel does not actually refer to a woman only but also relates to men. Jesus Christ however warns of people in the Last Day in religious places behaving as the ancient Israelite Queen did and the influence of their teaching is destroying and/or confusing the church. This warning is resounding and exposing false religion within the church, but it looks as if the people are powerless to do anything about it.
