A New Heaven and a New Earth
21 I saw a new heaven and a new earth, because the first heaven and earth had disappeared, and the sea was gone. 2 Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, dressed like a bride ready for her husband. 3 I heard a loud voice from the throne say, “God lives with humans! God will make his home with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them and be their God.
Hello well I think since we do not know God, we could not question whether God is good or not. It would not be appropriate to doubt someone that you do not know like a pre-conceived idea. Simply because people have created a world of horrible violence and danger does not mean that God himself is behind all of it, it only means that God allow human nature to be seen and felt without intervening.
God explains in the Bible that there will be a time when we will all know God, Jeremiah 31:31-34. When that time come it will be the same as in the passage above, a new heaven and a new earth where things are done differently, and the world will be changed. That is the only condition that God would physically live among people forever. The changes made in this future promise is because God came down to live peacefully among people, Isiah 9:6-7.
