Hello, I would say no it would not be wrong. Of course, the Bible says that God is good and that there is no reason to doubt this. But we look at the horrors that happen all around the world, and do we think God cannot be good if the world that he made is so corrupted in this way and he does nothing. It is not illogical to question God sincerity when we see bad things happening to the point where we do not wish to go out because we want to avoid seeing badness in any form. No, I feel that the crisis you refer to is unchecked badness that engulfs the earth. I feel that everything connected to God can be questioned, Is God Almighty? Is God honest? Does God love humans? Is God concerned about the future of humanity? These are important questions, and it cannot be wrong to just simply ask them based on the things observed every day. This is my feelings, and I could not possibly believe that you would be wrong in asking general questions from a God that never speaks but clearly watching. Peace.
We can also refer towards the Bible to give us an explanation from God. We can search the Bible to see if there is some communication that explains the feelings we have that God ignores the conditions on earth. The bad things that happen to people can also be questioned. Will God allow people to just run rampant? Or are we within time limits of God's plan? The Bible is the communication that we have from God and what should the Bible do but tell us the truth and the information that we wish to know from him.
