The Bible has story that used birds, It does not mean anything other then its intended purpose. The Bible story of Noah's Ark and the birds leaving the ark, the birds helped Noah tell if the water had drained off the Earth yet, they left but returned. Finally, they did not return and so Noah knew the time for them to leave the Ark was soon. Another concept is the spirit coming down as a dove on Jesus head at his baptism, since Jesus was the only one that had this occurrence, it was a sign for John the Baptizer to recognize the Christ, John 1:29-34.
