Hi, I am so very sorry about the past in light of the Holocaust, it was a very serious affair. As you know Adolf Hitler is the antichrist and this is the issues of humans' challenge to be submissive to God authority, Matthew 24:3-14. Unfortunately for millions of people that lived during WWII God allowed the governments to prove that their own ways of living were better than God's own will for mankind.
Sadly, the results were the deaths of millions of Jews under Nazi occupation. Many of them were Judaism believers whereas God is also a Christian founder and expected them to convert to Christian beliefs. At the point in WWII the Jews have not converted to Christianity and so rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah. So, you can view the Holocaust as a religious affirmation, God did create Judaism and also Christianity the modern way to God. In favor of establishing the Christian Faith God rejected Judaism so that the whole world could have a chance to gain salvation, John 3:16-21.
