Why did they change the name of God to Allah, if it was the same prophet as in the Old Testament?11/1/2019 Allah means God in Arabic; God is not a prophet but choses people to be special messengers for Allah which are correctly called prophets. As for the name of God it is written in the Book. ﺍﻟﻤﺰﺍﻣﻴﺮ 83:18 Arabic Bible: Easy-to-Read Version (ERV-AR) 18 عِندَئِذٍ سَيَعلَمُونَ أنَّكَ أنتَ يهوه وَحدَكَ اللهُ العَلِيُّ عَلَى كُلِّ الأرْضِ!
