Hi, I think it can help by having a heartfelt pray with a sincere heart. It can be very powerful to rely on God and feel within our hearts that we can put our burdens on God since it does uplift us, Psalms 55:22. This is a natural way of building trust in God and also by recognizing human limitations. We are not perfect, and the Bible has always encouraged us to trust in the Lord, Proverbs 3:5-6. This is how God wants us to be in our imperfect state which has not gained salvation. We are told to follow and obey God laws and God does not confuse the situation by with false encouragement, 1 John 5:1-4.
Some people do not realize that prayer comes from your heart, Jeremiah 17:9. This can come as a real test if you don't actually believe that God is real. You are addressing God in prayer it seems as if you are not serious. Your prayer or communications reflects it. The actual words that come out of your heart may be a display of no faith at all. This is a feature of the world that is very common a strong sense of non-belief. We must see that Satan does look for this trait in humans and whole religions have been destroyed because of not having genuine faith in God's being even though we cannot express how life originated, 2 Corinthians 4:4.
The first step would be to believe in God and that God is real and resides in outer space divinely called Heaven. Once you can accomplish this feat then your prayers will be more serious and less gossipy, mockery, and weird sounding.
Hebrews 11:6
Names of God Bible
6 No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
