I would say no for the belief in the afterlife is not a biblical based teaching the right concept that Jesus Christ taught was immortality as a resurrection from the dead, 1 Corinthians 15:42–44. We live now on the earth, and we entertain ourselves and our family and friends every day we are not bored, the theater, the movies, music concerts, sports events, restaurant etc. all these things provide entertainment. Of course, it takes money today to have a good time, so it is up to God’s kingdom to resolve the problems of this world. A bright future can be obtained once the kingdom has arrived and is established to change the conditions on Earth for it subjects.
