In 1 John 4:1, what is meant by "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world."?

​           Hello, I believe this passage needs a better translation that would clarify what is said in the Bible itself.

4 Dear friends, don’t believe all people who say that they have the Spirit. Instead, test them. See whether the spirit they have is from God, because there are many false prophets in the world.


             This passage is a warning of how in final days many will simply announce that they are the Messiah/Christ and fool many, Matthew 24:23–26. God alone is the Messiah and created a body that will come to earth and provide all the needs spoken through the Prophets, Hebrews 10:5 and Revelation 12:1–2. What important prophecy will be fulfilled at the Second Coming of Christ and the End of the World?
